Designed by Sokolov, based off the Granin design. Is the very first Metal Gear variant in existence. Designed with rocket purpolsion jets under its wings, it is made to be a hovering nuclear platform. Its made to be attached to the top of a space rocket, launched out of the atmosphere and will parachute into enemy territory, commense hovering over the area of the target. And launch multiple independent reentry vehicles of MIRV warheads over an entire country completely eradicating the target.
Its only method of transport is a space rocket launced from a nuclear silo, it cannot launch from anywhere, its only able to from being catapulted into space from a rocket. Its also equipped for tanking on infantry and tanks etc. With vulcan cannons, and small missile pods. The model's main weakness, are the legs which is stands, this was the main flaw which enabled Big Boss to destroy the test model. The actual model was destroyed by Big Boss and his unit while is was docked with the space rocket.
