Nastasha Romanenko/ Age (Shadow Moses 30's)
Nastasha is a specialist in nuclear weapons, and supports Snake over the Codec during his mission at Shadow Moses Island. She was recruited to the mission by her ex-husband, Richard Ames.
Nastasha was born three kilometres north of the Chernobyl power plant, and she and her family were hit with radiation after the Chernobyl accident in 1986. Nastasha was evacuated, and fortunately did not become ill from the incident. However, both of her parents died from radiation sickness while helping with the clean-up. It was after this particular event that Nastasha became determined to rid the world of nuclear weapons.
In 2005, Ames recruited her to help with the Shadow Moses incident, and afterwards she was forced to go into hiding due to all the facts she was not supposed to know. Eventually she gathered the courage to put her experiences down on paper, and published an autobiography called "In the Darkness of Shadow Moses," explaining her interpretation of the true events of Shadow Moses. Her whereabouts are unknown.
