Naomi Hunter/ Age (Shadow Moses late 20's) (Outer Haven 30's)

Naomi Hunter is the head of FOXHOUND's medical staff, working alongside Roy Campbell and Mei Ling to support Snake during his mission at Shadow Moses Island. She specialises in genetics, and was one of the people responsible for the creation of the Genome Soldiers.

Although she is thought to be Naomi Hunter, Naomi bought her identification because she did not know anything about herself, not even her real name. The reason she became interested in genetics in the first place was because she wanted to find out more about herself.
Although her true motives behind Shadow Moses were kept to herself, Naomi joined FOXHOUND hoping to get revenge on Solid Snake, who fatally wounded her brother, Frank Jaeger. Fox had taken her in as an orphan and cared for her until he went to Zanzibar, where Solid Snake had done the deed. Fox was also the specimen used for Dr. Clark's gene therapy project, and after the murder of Clark, Naomi helped her brother cover it up.
Naomi's revenge on Snake was to inject him with FOXDIE, a virus that targets specific people. Although FOXDIE had originally been a part of the operation, Naomi altered it just before the mission, changing it so that it could kill Snake at any time. This, she believed, would be the best revenge she could possibly get - he would not know at which point he would die.
Naomi was placed under arrest at the end of the Shadow Moses incident, and sent to prison. However, she escaped soon afterwards, and it is believed that Snake himself may have had a hand in her escape. Her whereabouts are unknown.

9 years after Shadow Moses. Naomi resurfaces and seems to be on two sides of this conflict. Liquid is helping her hijack SOP because she understands how FOXDIE works. She sends a distress call to Snake to rescue her from the hands of Liquid.
