Kenneth Baker/ Age (Shadow Moses 60's) Deceased
Kenneth Baker is the President of ArmsTech, the world's leading weapons manufacturers. ArmsTech had been developing Metal Gear Rex in order to solve its financial problems, and they were paying bribe money to the DARPA Chief to support the project. However, both Baker and the Chief were taken hostage when Liquid Snake took over Shadow Moses, and Baker was interrogated for one of the two passwords needed to activate Metal Gear. He eventually gave in to the torture and surrendered his password, although he managed to hide the optical disk containing all of Metal Gear's test data from his torturer, Revolver Ocelot, and he also gave the PAL override key for Metal Gear to Meryl Silverburgh, a fellow prisoner, prior to his interrogation.
Baker is wired to C4 explosives when Solid Snake arrives to rescue him, but is saved by Gray Fox just after Snake's battle with Ocelot. Ocelot and Fox both disappear and Snake and Baker are left to talk. However, Baker dies a few minutes later due to the FOXDIE virus that Snake unknowingly infects him with.
